Stormwater design

The objective of Panama and its foreign relations and this alliance known as Conjunta Centroamerica–USA (CONCAUSA) is for purposes of providing domestic and foreign policies that support promotion on sustainable development for economy of the participating countries. Finally, Panama and its foreign relations are also involved in the international criminal court in which Panama is a member as well. The said foreign organization is a Bilateral immunity agreement of its members for the protection of the US military.

In designing a permeable pavement, factors that must be considered include not only the expected stormwater or rainfall (I” or 2”, 10-year storm or 20-year storm, etc.), its intensity (how rapidly it falls and for what duration), and the soil permeability (sand or clay or something in between), but also the total impervious area from which stormwater may be received, and the total permeable paving area expected to handle the resulting stormwater volume.

In many municipalities, certain input values, minimums and calculation methods are required, and are embodied in local stormwater design regulations. For large sites with varying soils and topography and perhaps on-site detention or retention, design calculations can become quite complex, and will likely require the enlistment of a hydrologic professional.

'The power of unreasonable people' by Elkington and Hartigan is a great book. There is no catch here. It sounds like a good deal for the consumer and early reports indicate it is. So why aren’t consumers interested? A new report by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy takes a close look at 19 on-bill financing programs offered in 15 states. In many cases, less than 1 percent of eligible customers choose to participate in these programs.

However, making matters more difficult for DDB, the "Stretch" campaign also needed to be segmented to specifically address the needs of multiple divisions within AT&T's business marketing organization that had previously used their own, separate campaigns. This meant DDB also had to sell its advertising creative to and receive the buy-in and approval of a much broader group of marketers.

The concept is just beginning to take hold, so the problem may simply be lack of awareness, says Casey Bell, lead author of the report. “The growth of these programs depends on a number of factors. We are seeing a trend where they are emerging in more states. While I profiled 19 programs, we found 31 in 20 different states. A lot of these programs are still new, and many are still in the pilot phase,” Bell said.
